WELCOME TO OAK HILL YOGA and YOGA THERAPY Welcome to Oak Hill Yoga’s Website! Oak Hill Yoga opened in June 2010 to serve the Oak Hill community and surrounding areas. We specialize in yoga for people in midlife and beyond. We offer Yoga classes and Yoga Therapy in the Viniyoga tradition, a type of Hatha Yoga which can be adapted appropriately for people of all ability levels and ages. The owner and main teacher is a Certified Yoga Therapist. Therefore, everything we do is therapeutic, designed to achieve, support, and maintain your optimal health. All classes are body friendly. Therapeutic Clinics or series for small groups offer relief for conditions such as low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, and stress. One-on-one work addresses issues such as chronic pain or insomnia; conditions such as COPD, FMS, osteoporosis, and many other health challenges. Yoga therapy is a perfect complement to or post-treatment followup to chiropractic care or physical therapy.
Our location must change. October 2015 classes may be delayed. The studio we used for the 2013-2014 season is changing ownership. Therefore Oak Hill Yoga will have to postpone opening the Fall 2015 season until we find new space. Please let Marilyn know if you know of an appropriate space for our classes.
